‼️Tomorrow, President Trump meets with President Zelenskyy in Washington. The meeting has been planned for several days, but this afternoon the White House surprised the world by announcing a follow-up summit with Vladimir Putin in Budapest. That means what happens tomorrow could shape the agenda — and leverage — for what happens next.
Providing Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine before the Budapest summit would strengthen both America’s and Ukraine’s negotiating positions. These long-range, precision weapons can target the Russian airfields, refineries, and command centers launching attacks on civilians — all without putting any American troops at risk.
The U.S. has thousands of Tomahawks in storage. Sharing even a fraction would make a decisive difference and show that the U.S. stands firm for peace through strength, not hesitation.
Now is the moment to make your voice heard.![]()

Write your Members of Congress urging them to publicly support sending Tomahawks to Ukraine.
Post on social media tagging your elected officials — call on them to speak out before the Zelenskyy meeting tomorrow.
Every public statement matters. Every post adds pressure. Together, we can make sure America leads with strength — and helps Ukraine secure peace on its own terms.
America must not waver.

Join CSEEES for our Graduate Student Lecture. Our autumn 2025 lecture entitled “Women Narrating Ukraine Otherwise: Herstories from Literature, Theater and Film” will be given by Mykyta Tyshchenko (Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures). This talk will examine how contemporary Ukrainian women authors engage historical narrative as a postcolonial strategy across literature and film. Focusing on works produced between the Orange Revolution and Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, Tyshchenko argues that reenactments and fictionalizations of history serve as a means of national self-actualization and cultural resistance. His literary analysis highlights how Oksana Zabuzhko, Lina Kostenko, and Sofia Andrukhovych reconstruct family and national memory through fragmented yet coherent narrative forms. In film, Tyshchenko explores how directors Kateryna Hornostay, Iryna Tsilyk, and Nadiia Parfan navigate war, trauma, and Soviet legacies through intimate storytelling and aesthetic innovation. Across these texts, women emerge as custodians of collective memory, articulating a distinctly Ukrainian postcolonial sensibility.
